1. Driver Identification Key

This feature consists of a magnetic key that must be tapped for driver authorisation before starting the vehicle with the main key. The vehicle can still be started, but a warning alarm will sound if the driver fails to authorise using this driver identification tag. The duration of the alarm can be customised according to customer requirements.

2. Engine Start Notification

Enhance security by monitoring engine ignition activity. The system sends automatic notifications via email, SMS (upon request), or the app whenever the vehicle is started. You will receive details including the vehicle number, date, time, and ignition location, all viewable instantly on a map with a single click.

3. Vehicle Exit Area Notification

Another monitoring feature tracks vehicle movement based on specific areas; automatic notifications are sent whenever a vehicle enters or exits a designated zone. You can establish virtual boundaries—or "geofences"—to mark locations such as your office or a project site. This allows you to stay alert if a vehicle leaves the project area at suspicious times or fails to return to the office. For car rental operations, you can set up geofences for permitted city limits, ensuring you are immediately notified if an asset is taken outside the authorised area.

4. Remote Immobiliser

Upon detecting suspicious activity, you can remotely shut down the vehicle's engine using the immobiliser function in the Cartrack app. Once the engine is turned off, the system prevents the driver from restarting it. You can also combine this with a driver identification key, ensuring the vehicle cannot be started until the driver taps the magnetic key.
