Cartrack uses a subscription rental model with monthly payment options based on the chosen contract duration.
What is included in the Cartrack subscription fee?
The GPS tracker device (loaned), installation service by a Cartrack technician, SIM card and monthly internet data, access to Fleet Web and the Cartrack mobile app, system usage training, software updates, and a lifetime device warranty.
Is there a separate installation fee?
No, installation costs are included in the monthly subscription fee for all products (GPS tracker, fuel monitoring, and fleet cameras). There are no separate service fees charged by technicians.
What is the minimum contract length, and how does renewal work?
Cartrack provides a minimum subscription contract of 1 year, which can be renewed annually.

Do I have to install a GPS tracker first to use the fleet management system?
Yes. The GPS tracker is the primary device that allows the fleet management system to collect location data, engine activity, and driving behavior, which are then processed into insights and reports on Fleet Web. In addition to the GPS tracker, you can add other modules such as fuel monitoring, AI cameras, delivery management, and service scheduling without needing to replace the core installed device.
Can I use the Cartrack Fleet Management System if I am already using a different brand of GPS tracker?
No. The GPS tracker is the core device of the Cartrack Fleet Management System, so it can only be used together.
What types of vehicles can be installed?
Motorcycles, passenger cars, trucks, buses, and heavy equipment. You can use a single account to manage a mixed fleet consisting of multiple vehicle types.
Can it be installed on electric vehicles (EVs)?
Yes. Cartrack GPS trackers can be used for electric vehicle monitoring.
